Keep 'em coming!

Another first: She sang.

And not just any singing as she is wont to do, parroting back melodies and rhythms with which she is inundated, or trilling herself to sleep, but REAL singing!

Even in her first few months of life, her musical inclinations were noted as she cried to the tempo of her musical mobile--even stopping when it stopped. Before she could even coo or uncurl her fingers, she would grin to our tongue clicks, scats, and clapped percussive beats.

But today . . . today, she sang! Words, pitch, phrasing, and all.
She sang with me a lullaby I often sing to her to prepare her for night-night.
Granted, it's a simple melody with only two words and a repetitive refrain (doubly redundant?), but she sang it. Over and over and over . . .
