The Best Mother's Day Ever!

Little M and I have finally returned home from the hospital after a 3-week, pins-and-needles, stay.  We are glad to be home, happy and well, just in time for Mother's Day!  Proud Papa has been updating the blog in our absence since I didn't have access to a computer, much less the internet, the past few weeks.  But I thought I'd commemorate this day with an encapsulation of the last few weeks:

The day she got sick.  Too sick to hold her head up, nurse, or even cry.

After she seized, coded, was intubated, rushed to PICU, and placed on a vent.
She didn't wake up for several days.

After her stroke.  Back in the PICU recovering nicely,
thanks to the prayers and faith of many.

Bed and bath boarding.
Waiting out the last week to see if she needs brain surgery.

Chillin' with Chip and Dale.

Back at home taking a breather after a rousing game of Peek-a-Boo under the sheets on Mother's Day.
