After our Thanksgiving vacation in Idaho, we flew out to Maryland to participate in a medical study on deafness at the NIH hospital. Little M endured 7 flights in 2 weeks from start to finish. She was an excellent passenger every time. Everyone marveled, including me, because I've never been able to have her sleep on my lap before in her life!

We stayed at the Children's Inn on campus. It was a wonderful place. I invite you to check it out here: http://www.childrensinn.org. We felt very fortunate to be able to stay there. Inside their indoor treehouse, Little M found a car she was sure was NOT a loaner.
After our study, we were able to do some sight-seeing. Our first destination was the Washington D.C. temple. It was cold and VERY windy. Our Arizona baby has never experienced anything like that before, and her thin Arizona clothes weren't very protective. This wasn't the fun she had in mind!
All the travel and testing and changes to her schedule and everything really took a toll on her. Being who she is, she never complained. However, she did vomit every night. Repeatedly. You can probably still see the chunks in her hair.

Ew, could have done without that last line! So many flights and so many tests- I know you said it took a lot of time to get back on track and back into the swing of life. It's good to see you back on the blog :)
Pictures do tell a thousand words- well done! (and videos ta boot!)
